Morning Edit is an inspiring online ‘home’ for design-lovers, object-hoarders, print-admirers and for anyone who obsesses over even the tiniest of interior objects. So that’s you and us, guys!
Having worked together for over 7 years as Researchers in the publishing industry, sourcing new talent for both the global Interior and Stationery markets, Angie and I have embarked upon this exciting adventure of bringing together even more loveliness all under one roof for you to enjoy. We’ve been wanting to develop this for ages, and finally we’ve got things happening!
And so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come and visit us… our new home. Thank you so much for visiting All Kinds Of New and following my sporadic, creative ramblings… if you’ve enjoyed your time here then you’ll love Morning Edit even more!

Artist, designer, and stylist Lula Aldunate (aka. Lulaland) has a beautiful collection of images and inspirations on her flickr site… These images below really set my mouth watering… What a stunning collection of plates!..and what lovely arrangements… Really inspiring….makes me seriously want to go crockery shopping!
I fell in love with the work of John Murphy nearly two years ago, when I first came across his beautiful collage prints (see one of my very first posts here!). However..not only is John a master at print and collage, but also of photography too…
I want to share with you a few examples from John’s open & limited edition photography collections – twinned with his very own hand-finished frames. How stunning are these???!!!! The images below here are all from his open-edition collection, priced at $150 each. Each piece is an archival pigment print, and each frame is hand-finished (10 x 12 inches framed). Beeeeooootttiful!!
The following are all from John’s Limited Edition collection..again, in absolutely scrummy frames…. Prices and sizes vary depending on the piece (prices vary from $475 – $1400), but all are from small print runs – which makes them even more extra-special!…If you are interested in the frames only, John does sell these on their own, for a mere $55… available in a range of 10 different, delicious colour options..(check availability here!) Mmmmmmm…lip smacking!
I have just come across the lovely photography of Zee Longenecker, and just wanted to share these funfair shots with you…. I love the colours…the warm sugary feeling…. I can almost taste the candyfloss!!…. Just gorgeous….especially on cold winter days such as today… brrrrrrrr…..

These photographs, by award-winning German photographer Jan Von Holleben, are just so funny!! And clever!!
These aerial photographs, from his ‘Dreams of Flying’ collection, bring together the concepts of ‘playing’ and ‘childhood’ – which Holleben explored at length as part of his teacher training course. Holleben worked with children from his local neighbourhood in South West Germany to create these brilliant scenes, which cannot help but make you smile.
This work brings together the influences of Holleben’s parents – a cinematographer and child therapist – with his personal experience and childhood memories. Inspired by classic childhood books as well as modern superheroes, he produced ‘Dreams of Flying’ back in 2002, and is still ongoing today!
I think the Ghostbusters piece has to be my favourite!! But go to his website and check out King Kong!!!
