I have just come across these beautiful shawls from Nicola Lokko – also known as My-Shell Me-Shell, and they look rather lovely, don’t you think?
Things to know about this gorgeous company and these gorgeous products include the following; they use rare breed sheep yarns, are UK based (sunny Brighton!), use local manufacturers, and use “lovely local hand-knitters” including Anne who is 70yrs old, and when isn’t knitting her wonderful shawls is often using up oddments to make blankets for the RSPCA.
I just wanted to share with you a really gorgeous vintage fashion collector on ebay; one which I can highly recommend for her service, personal style and sheer overall loveliness. Welcome to My Foolish Heart.
I’ve hand-picked a few items below which are currently available, but if any catch your eye, be quick to pay a visit as these beauties may disappear quick! I am absolutely loving the 1960’s sheer bow blouse shown first below…how lovely?!! Yes – definitely worth a regular visit!!!

These tights below are amazing… You couldn’t help but make a lasting impression in these fab beauties, could you?!!! Original, stylish…. am loving the colour combos… i like the fact they are not ‘pretty’…. Yesssss…very nice and sexy!!! Purrrrrrr…
Have a look here to see where you can purchase your favourites.. Prices start at around the £35 mark upwards..and apparently, they should be coming to a large London store this Sept! Yay! So i’ll keep you updated! (thanks Olivier!!)
Last is another recommendation from a friend which I had to share..Last is a specialist shoe and accessory shop based in Brighton, East Sussex, with a focus on beautiful design providing style for the individualist. Last offer independent designers that are not stocked elsewhere, to provide a viable alternative to the high street and the more well known brands. And what they sell is absolutely gorgeous!
Needless to say, these rather stunning pairs of beauties (above) caught my eye straight away!!!! Oh boy how lovely are these..? Priced at £349.99, I think I may be admiring from afar for a little while..But as Last supports original designers with a strong respect for craft skills and design, you can appreciate why the prices are a little more than your usual high street shoe shop. The shop stocks over 50 different designers – many of which are Brighton designer-makers, and all of which are just fab! Plus, if the styles available off the shelf are not for you, then you can commission your own pair to be made in the Last workshop. Nice huh?!
Last offer more than just shoes, however… They sell some really lovely jewellery too, as well as hosiery and accessories! Here are just a few examples from their collections (all of which I want RIGHT NOW!) Check the Last website for their prices….Mmmm deeelish!

All Kinds Of New came across the breathtaking work of Aurore Thibout only recently, whilst browsing vintage furniture shop Elemental, in Old Spitalfields, East London. Aurore Thibout is a Paris-based artist who defines her work through both art and fashion. Thibout creates unique hand crafted pieces that blur the border between clothes and textile art. The 3D art works below are wonderful; delicately feminine and yet frozen..almost ghostly…hence the perfect name of ‘Memory Clothes’. Really beautiful.
Some of Thibout’s fashion pieces can be seen below…all extremely wearable..
