Doodle

I have only just come across this collaboration…and what they are doing is sooooo good! Doodle is a graphic and product design studio, based in Milan, and has been up and running since 2006 when industrial designers Tim Boyce and Angela Violino put their heads together. And their collection of innovative and inspiring tableware is just so gorgeous.

This is what has caught my eye…though they have tons of really lovely things on their site! This is Doodle’s Portafrutta fruit bowl below…inspired by a piece of paper, cut, folded and deformed. The form and contours within the ‘bowl’ suggest where you should place the fruit, and it is made from cherry wood, using laser-cut technology – a method which Doodle are pretty hot on! How nice is this!!!???

Soooooooo nice! As mentioned above, Doodle do have lots more really fab products on their site, and I have only selected one to show at the mo (I may be back!)..So take a look! Hubba hubba hubba!
